This week our team from Hawaii helped out the other YWAM team from Hawaii with Samaritan’s Purse. Tuesday thru Thursday we worked on a house just a few blocks from the Be One house. We took out the walls and floors and mudded out the bottom floor. It was very encouraging to work with the other team, they were very up beat and had good attitudes. Then on Friday we fasted and worked on the B2 house, ripping out the walls on the bottom floor. After this we cleaned the Be One house and then drove up to a shrine on top of the large hill overlooking Ishinomaki. We were told that this is the hill that many of the people ran to when the tsunami came for safety. So we prayed for a while over the city, that God would start raising up Christians and that he would encourage and strengthen the existing Christians. Today, a small team from Ibaraki and our team are going to a man named A-san’s home to help him out with whatever he needs and the other half of the team are going back to the B2 house to continue working on it. Praise God for this wonderful and fruitful week!
