We express our sorrow and concern for the families of those who have lost friends and loved ones, belongings, properties and jobs in the terrible earthquake and tsunami that occurred in Japan on March 11, 2011. God is hurting for the areas that have been hurt by this natural disaster. We hope God will heal this community with his power and love. Immediately following the disaster, Christians from the Kansai area as well as other parts of Japan began cooperating together as Be One Tohoku Aid to bring relief to the people of Tohoku. We have received support, encouragement and teams from all over the world as well. We have now established a base in the city of Ishinomaki, which is being used to host and send out teams to work in the surrounding devastated communities. We believe it is vital to do whatever we can to come together as ONE to assist the people of Tohoku.
This homepage will display updates from people who are helping out in the Tohoku area, news about projects we are currently involved in, and information for our volunteers. We also have a list of current needs in the area. Please take a look! We appreciate your support and prayers for the people of Tohoku.
